Model Answer: I live in Australia and this country is considered to be ‘paradise on earth’ for tourists. Mesmerising natural sceneries, sacred aboriginal sights, coral reefs, red deserts, famous man-made architectures, staggering landscapes and spectacular wildlife make it an ideal place for tourists to soak up some sun and take a dip in the pristine waters. For the purpose of this task, I would like to speak about two of our most prevalent tourism attractions, which happen to exist side-by-side.
One of the most popular destinations is Daintree National Park. This is situated in Far North Queensland and was founded in the year 1981. It was also world heritage listed in 1988 and, to date, is one of the most visited tourist spots in Australia. In fact, it has one of the most ancient ecosystems worldwide, renowned for the exceptional biodiversity it offers. Another must see is the iconic Great Barrier Reef. The reef contains an abundance of marine life and comprises over 3000 individual reef systems and coral cays and literally 74 (seventy-four) picturesque tropical islands with some of the planet’s most beautiful golden beaches. Because of its natural beauty, the Great Barrier Reef has become one of the world’s most sought-after tourist destinations.
The unparalleled offerings of this amazing country comprise more than 18 thousand plant species and a vast array of unique animals. Australia will offer a once in a lifetime experience to prospective travellers: diverse ecosystems, an extensive number of native animals and plants, wonderful sunset experiences and second-to-none rainforests.
